Why InfraSun Wallpaper Heating?

The wallpaper installation provides many advantages when used as a room heating system. Installation on the surface of a brick or concrete wall is recommended, as these walls store and retain the heat of the desired temperature that you would like. Subsequently the retained heat is then emitted when an electrical power source is not available.


It is obvious that this is a major advantage when loadshedding occurs or when your heater is connected directly to a Photo-Voltaic (PV) System. You use the stored heat from your wall whether there is no energy obtainable through solar means or a direct electricity source.

The temperature can be adjusted using the voltage of an appropriate power supply that is delivered with the heating set. Different temperatures are possible. The voltage used ranges from 24V to a maximum of 48V DC on paintable Wallpaper or paper laminated in PET sheeting with 230V AC. All is safe to touch.

Connection to certain PV panels directly is possible.

How InfraSun Heating Works

Conventional heaters and heating elements heat the air in the room therefore using it as a heat transfer medium. The warm air rises to the ceiling before sinking back down to the floor at the opposite end of the room where it cools down. This often creates cold drafts on the floor and results in the room climate tending to be dry. (See above illustration)

The advantage of infrared heating is that there are no drafts caused which also often result in dust turbulences, this has a severe health impact on allergy sufferers. Moisture can also be removed from walls with infrared heating. Operated with green electricity, far-infrared heaters are environmentally friendly.

The acquisition costs are also lower than with conventional heating. Since heating systems are powered with the use of "Green Electricity" our type of infrared heating is envirometally friendly. This in turn has the added benefit that aquisition costs are significant lower than with conventional heating.

Even with supplied municipal electricity you might be able to save energy consumption for heating in ranges between 25% and 35%. Depending on the thermal insulation and other circumstances of your rooms or heated devices.

It is possible to install our different systems invisible on ceilings and walls, as panel or as a "camouflaged" picture on walls or even on doors, under the plaster of your room or under tiling. The wall paper can be painted over.
